Was the writer of the film "2012," an aethiest?

I googled this and came up with no relevant results:

GOOGLE URL for results

With all the religious references in the film and the fact that not one religious person survives this world wide disaster; is it possible that there is an underlining message here? A lot of Hollywood films take a stab at Christians, but I’ve never seen one that took a stab at all religious people…oh wait the dahli llama survived, can’t forget him.
Here is the link that shows an article written by a professional writer who agrees with me on this. Check it out.

He was a hack who was given the assignment to make a clone of "Independence Day" for a lower budget with more CGI.

Even most atheists didn’t survive that movie. I didn’t think I was going to survive that movie. Bunch of crap.

Two questions in reply:

1. What’s an "aethiest"?

2. Who cares?

I think that the writer was saying that it doesn’t matter which religion you belong to.

A little bit of the section of my brain labeled "good taste" leaked out of my ear when I sat through this film. It was garbage, and I don’t claim him as a "fellow" atheist if he is one.
