I’m curious about how the forestry people react to you being there and building these sorts of camps. Are they generally cool about it? Do you have to get permission first or how does that work? Great video!

@SuperRevRob So far, in this section of the woods I have never been told to move on. My structures always stay up so I guess they don’t object to them. Please see my video “Wild camping in England & the UK” for more information. Thanks for your comments.

Great video, I do have suggestions: first pick up 2 painters tarps about 1.26 pounds, these tarps are used to surround the branches. Use a heavy tarp to line the inside and your green tarp over and under you. A wind break for the fire and your set. You can also use a heavy duty tarp facing your shelter and have a / \ type shelter. Good Luck. great job!

@StatenIslandPrepper Good tips for a tarp setup. Thanks Prepper! Eventually I want this to be made from 100% natural materials. I only attempted a tarp setup as i forgot my tent poles and pegs.

Really interesting Alex. Well done. You never know some of the infomation you have shared may well save someone’s life in the future.
I wonder where you go wild camping. have you ever been disturbed and asked to leave?
All the best

@g0vqw Thanks Sandy. I have been asked to leave from various wild camping locations but luckily it has always been in the morning as I have been packing up. Politeness will get you far in these situation, I have found. Luckily, now I have 2 locations I generally go to. I have camped at both many many times and so far, nothing.
Cheers.
