Christians – Will the solar storms NASA is warning about one of God's judgments described in revelation?

NASA warns of violent solar eruptions that can come down on Earth and wipe out electricity and natural gas in a matter of an instant. Should also occur around 2012 (What a coincidence)

Perhaps what the mayans predicted is not the end of the world as if it were to vanish by natural disasters or something, but the solar storms that will end the world. It was astronomy they studied, no?

Maybe this one of the seals that’s described in revelation. If so, it is going to be a miserable time on Earth when God pours out his judgments. Of course if you’re not a christian you have no idea what I’m talking about.
It’s not something God does, it’s what he ALLOWS.

If an economic collapse were to occur, he’d allow it, due to the sin
Gosh, some of you are uneducated? Remember the solar storms in the 1800s that wiped out the telephone lines? Easily can happen again. NASA predicted it and gave it a very highly likely ratio for it to happen.

NASA is not warning of solar storms in 2012. NASA is actually saying that the next solar maximum (2013, not 2012) will be less energetic than the last in 2001: http://solarscience.msfc.nasa.gov/images/ssn_predict_l.gif
Funnily enough, I don’t remember the solar storms of the 1800s. The Mayans were unaware of them, so how could they incorporate them into any prediction (which they never made anyway)?
Instead of scrabbling around to find something which represents God’s judgment in Revelation, try getting back to the real world and realising that many kids are frightened by this garbage which you seem keen to promote.

Why are people always looking at natural phenomena as if it somehow it represents God’s doing?
It’s just a phenomena that is all it is and it has nothing to do with your Revelations.

The sun flaring up is a natural process. And at the moment, plenty of ways are being worked out to fix the problem. Therefore, if it was one of God’s judgments, you’d think he wouldn’t give us time to prepare in order to completely obliterate the point of said judgement.

Or maybe we’ll put together a special team like on Armageddon to divert the crisis. You know…since we do have information beforehand. Best not to just sit around and die.

Hell no. Solar storms like this have been going on for billions of years. Besides, there is no God so how could there be any connection to something that doesn’t even exist?

It happens roughly every 11 years.

Nah. If anything, those solar storms (if it happens) will probably be the very thing to kick off the rapture. It makes sense if you think about it. Solar storm comes, Jesus returns, raptures the church, Earth is left without power and electricity for some time, Satan and his minions are released, Satan utilizes the time to get to world power, power comes back, Satan is all over the tv and internet on Earth, God sends the delusion, and thus the the tribulation period begins.

No! That is not possible because the Bible is a spiritual book.
Physical events are unimportant to God plans.
GAY PRIDE is a different matter. Gay pride is a spiritual affront to God and it can be shown in the Bible how Gay Pride is a sign of the end of time.
The Bible declares the end will begin on May 21 2011. I have seen this study and I testify that it is true.
You can find a book called "Gay Pride- a sign from God of the end of time" on the internet and read it for free.
I am not allowed, by the rules of this forum, to direct you to specific sites that give you the details of this truth; so you need to search on the web for yourself.
Search: "Wecanknow" or you can look for "MAY 21 2011". Another search you can do is for "Family Radio".

Before you do any such searching please start your search with an honest prayer to God that He lead you in His truth and not the "truths" of your own imaginations.

By the way: A faithful reading of 1Corinthians 2 will teach you how "No man Knoweth" is language pointing at the unsaved condition of mankind and that the True Believer (chosen by God) can know all things because he is given "a new spirit and the mind of Christ".
