Anyone that says the world will end in 2012, needs to do more reading. A few science classes wouldn’t hurt.

If you listen to people that make crazy rants about religion (who would do that???), then you get the same irrational thinking that led to the Spanish Inquisition and yeah, I know no one expects that.

Wait a sec, there’s a knock at my door…

It’s impossible to tell when the world will end, and people have been predicting since forever =O So don’t get to freaked out. The world WILL end one day, but probably not in your life-time.

Well to me I think it’s Fiction. People have been talking about the world ending for many years. My grandpa told me that in 1957 they even said the world would end in 2000… We are still here. They said in 2006 that computers and electricity would run out forever….. We still have it..

People don’t know when the world will end. Only God can make the world end. And no man on earth can know when that will happen. And they are saying the world will end cause of a gold calender thing. They said when the days run out on that the world will end.

Pleeeeease. They have had that calender for millions of years now.

For so long people have been talking about the world ending in 2000 1934 or whatever. So don’t believe it for one second. Just live your life and don’t worry about this. It’s not gonna happen.

(btw) Did God make that calender? No!!! No he did not!
So just remember, Only GOD can end the world. Not humans who "think" it will.

Edit: Also, Scientist said that the world will have another Ice Age in another million years…. And now there saying the world will end on Dec 21, 2012?

See there not right in the mind. There no thinkning this clear. And plus there saying something about a planet called "X", Now there just going to far with this 2012 thing.

And there talking about Global Warming. How everything will burn up soon. And there saying that another big Earth Quake will happen and knock CL off the USA. As I was saying there not thinking clear!

I mean if all of this is gonna happen they might as well not say millions of years from now if there talking about earth ending in 2012. It’s mostly just a pass by, AKA not happening.

The Mayan calendar ends in 2012 and has left the world wondering if they knew more than we do. Their civilization disappeared and left us with this mystery.

I wouldn’t put any major stock in the prophecy…no more so than the y2k deal. Humans have been trying to match the Nostradamus works to our own history for centuries.

Any prophecy will fit if we push it far enough.
I wouldn’t lose any sleep over this one.

Here’s a good article on the topic

Load of BS. All the supposed predictions are easily debunked.

Mayan calendar: 13th cycle ends, 14th one begins. The 14th is supposed to be an age of spiritual ascension, which some people intent on spreading panic interpreted as an apocalypse. Besides that, the Mayans have left inscriptions about the 42nd century, our reckoning. If the world were to be destroyed in 2012, why would they bother? Nothing would be left to write about.

Galactic alignment: another theory grasped from thin air. The solar system is moving away from galactic alignment; also, the planetary alignment in 2000 didn’t do anything.

Planet X/Nibiru: total myth. People claim it’s too far away to be seen; if that is the case, it would have to travel at about 1/4 the speed of light to reach us in time, which no solid body can withstand. So if it were true, all we’d get is a brilliant meteor shower.

The only thing that seems to point towards 2012 is a supposed hole in the magnetosphere that will form in that year. Recent discoveries have pointed towards the magnetosphere not being entirely aligned with the magnetic field of the Sun and Earth, meaning gaps could occur at times of high solar activity. But they won’t destroy Earth.

please, just please.

this myth came from the Mayan culture a long time ago. (way before you were born).

it said something about how in blah blah years, which equal out to 2012, the world would end.

but let me tell you a little secret: there "world is going to end" prophecy was the last thing to ever be accounted for on that calendar. translation: the end of the world was the end of the calendar. they died before they could finish the calendar.

This is actually a fascinating subject if you look at the history and science of it. I’ve read and watched a number of documentaries on it, because it is interesting. Of course I don’t believe that the world is going to end on Dec 21st 2012. What is fascinating is the source of this "prophecy". That is when the Mayan calender ends. What you don’t hear about with out some research is that their calender has ended in the past also. doesn’t mean the world is going to blow up. The part that is interesting is that in the end of their calender it is translated basically into "changing the world as we know it" a rebirth. The periods of time in history when the calender has cycled in the past have corresponded with world changing events, but what I find even more interesting is that
1. the Mayan calender is based on the stars, and celestial bodies.
2. They have found Mayan calendars that can cover time span of 5,125 of our years
3. in the Calender they Mayans were extremely accurate at tracking the cycles of planets

All of this is very impressive to be done by an ancient civilization.

Point is learn the facts, don’t listen to the hype. I’m interested to see what if anything happens on this next cycle of the calender, but anything that does or does not happen cannot change how interesting and impressive some ancient civilizations were with their intelligence.

It is true..not myth….there is much validation in numerous cultures around the world, in all holy books and religions which state this will occur at this basic date called the Shift of the Ages. But it is not an event it is a passage that occurs progressively caused by cosmic transits in the universe and as been verified by astrology astronomy and geologist as occurring at least 4 other times in earth planetary history. It is Validated by Science! not just the most popular Mayan calendar…to find out about it view the YouTube videos offered by some qualified scientific but spiritual people who have researched the lifetime into our ancient history to find the truth.

It is the change of an era of the cosmic cycles…it is the end of the era of one consciousness way of thinking and the beginning of a new thought of consciousness…

Fiction. It is not even a prophecy since prophecies are of God. Prophets speak for God. The builders of the Meso-American Long Count Calendar were star gazers and calendar makers, not prophets. They were chipping away at stone rather than computer generating their calendars. When they got to December of 2012 they had to flee for one of two reasons: 1. They were overrun by enemies or: 2. They were overtaken by plague or some other natural disaster. In any case work stopped and that’s as far as their calendar got. Consider also that these people failed to predict their own end way before 2012, an event far more important to them than anything that could occur in 2012. And consider also that the doomsayers have always been wrong. Here is a short list of recent End Times predictions that failed miserably. Please pay close attention to the last one. You should remember it:

March 10th, 1982: (Drum roll here please): The Jupiter Effect! What happened March 10th, 1982? Nothing happened on March 10th, 1982.

1987: 88 Reasons Why the Rapture Will be in 88 (and ‘On Borrowed Time’). So what happened in 1988? Nothing happened in 1988.

1999: Nostradamus, in 1999 will come the Great King of Terror… What happened in 1999? Nothing happened in 1999.

Y-2K: What happened 01-01-2000? Another non-event.

One of my very favorites and you should remember this one: Only last year (Sept. or Oct. of 2008), the LHC will open up a huge black hole that will swallow up the Universe! Now I can’t help but wonder why no one wants to talk about this ‘prediction’ anymore! Obviously nothing happened last year because we are all still here.

The doomsayers never get it right so don’t sweat it!

All of you people saying nothing is going to happen in or around 2012 are going to parish with the rest of them. I have a ton of scientific research to validate that there is a major event that is going to take place here on this planet in the near future.

If you don’t do your research with a open mind, then your ignorance will blind you from seeing the truth…

I can’t say if it going to be Niburu or global warming but I can say the planet is heating up much faster then the main stream media is reporting. Our magnetosphere is in dire striates. There are huge holes in it. We are going in to a solar maximum. This is not good for us. The solar maximum is in 2012, 2013.

There are major increases in earthquakes, volcanoes and weather storms not to mention the hottest summer on record worldwide. Pakistan is sinking. The magnetic poles are moving hundreds of miles. The gulfstream slowed drastically and is predicted to stop. That means mini ice age. Look around ladies and gentleman. Wake up. Stop watching TV!!!!! It’s blinding you.

Prepare for the worst and hope for the best. I will leave you with something that should open your eyes. If you don’t get it, then you’re a lost cause.

I will prey for you…

Have looked up Chemtrails lately?

What in the world are they spraying???? Remember SOLAR MAXIMUM!!!, MAGNETOSPHERE!!!!!! After watching this you will understand what that means.
I would like to see you debunk this. Please try…
